Gwynne Olson Biography

Gwynne Olson is a junior staff writer for

the Jesuit Chronicle. Gwynne is the youngest of two. Brooke, her older sister, is a recent graduate from the class of 2019; she will attend the University of Oregon this year. This is Gwynne’s first year in journalism but not her first year writing. She developed a passion for writing poems in middle school. She has spent much of her time writing short stories and poems, some of which are featured in the 2018-2019 edition of Cantos. Gwynne likes to spend here time outside of school surfing, throwing the Javelin, hanging out with friends, or prepping for a new found love, Mock Trial. After high school, Gwynne wants to attend the University of Wisconsin where she can study business and French. After graduating college, Gwynne hopes to travel to Europe. She want to move to France and travel the country writing and exploring. Some fun facts include she has a dog named Duke, her favorite animal is Elephants, the thing she wants most in the world is a teacup pig, and this summer she went to Guatemala.
