Passionate, cynical, and intelligent, these are the words Luke Flanagan believes describe him the best. Luke is a sophomore at Jesuit High School and is in his first year of journalism. He loves learning about different opinions and researching interesting current events. He has always been interested in open discussions and finding the truth. Luke enjoys reading books, playing video games, playing games with family and friends, and watching movies. Luke has always wanted to tell stories and express his opinions. He loved speaking publicly and adding as many jokes to speeches or essays as possible. Luke hopes to learn more about journalism and improve his public speaking skills. Luke wants to understand the interview process and develop broadcast management skills. He is interested in live-streaming, photography, photo editing, and video editing. Luke enjoys learning about events in the news. Luke hopes his journalism will make the Jesuit community more welcoming and kind to all.
