Claudia Rose, Content Creator
Claudia Rose is a Jesuit High School senior, returning from a year in Fundamentals of media. She particularly loved filming and editing videos on alumni Sophie Braun and Jesuit siblings that play sports together. She has verbally committed to play soccer at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles and will major in journalism where she is excited to continue using the skills that she has learned in media. Claudia is interested in writing about sports and social justice topics at Jesuit and beyond. She has a particular interest in writing about women in sports. Claudia loves any sport or outdoor activity, especially soccer. She plays forward for the varsity women’s soccer team. Unfortunately, she is injured and will be unable to compete for Jesuit this year. She will still be a manager, hoping to support the team to win another State Championship. During the spring, you will find Claudia on the field for the Portland Thorns Academy. She also loves hiking, skiing, and baking. She has a special interest in baking macarons. Claudia loves to travel and hopes to become a fluent Spanish speaker. Someday, she would love to combine her interests in travel, sports, and writing.
Clara Heiser, Content Creator
Clara Heiser is a Junior coming from the Fundamentals of Media class. She focused on Jesuit athlete interviews and learning the basics of photography. This year Clara wants to cover news around Jesuit and continue working on sports coverage. In Clara’s free time she enjoys hanging out with friends, participating in athletics at Jesuit, playing soccer for Portland Thorns Academy, and also coaching little kids soccer classes on the weekends. As Clara continues her Junior year she is ready and excited to start thinking about and visiting colleges. She currently plans on majoring in Psychology with long term plans of being a psychiatrist. Clara is also excited to see the Bills win the Super Bowl this year, go Bills!
