Iman Foster, Content Creator
Iman Foster is an ambitious and hard working Senior at Jesuit High School. After seeing media in her life through the news and sports, it sparked an irreplaceable interest in her heart. As it is Iman’s second year in media, she is hoping to apply what she has learned about regular and sports reporting, as well as the process behind interviews to her new projects. Iman is also hoping to cover many stories regarding the sports side of our lovely community at Jesuit as well as. Outside of academics, Iman is also a dual sport athlete. Over the past few years, she has been on the varsity volleyball team which won state these past two years, and the varsity track and field team who won state this past year. All of her life, sports have taught Iman many life lessons that have contributed to her personality and changed her life. In her free time she also enjoys spending time with family, friends, playing the ukulele, listening to music, laughing, baking, and shopping. This year, Iman hopes to join the sports side of Jesuit media again to help share the side of sports that she loves and gets to see everyday.

Kelly Mattson, Content Creator
Born in Portland Oregon, Kelly is a senior at Jesuit High School and is looking forward to her first year in Advanced Media. At Jesuit, Kelly is a part of the women’s golf team and is excited for an amazing year with her teammates. When she is not in school or playing golf, you can usually find Kelly hanging out with her friends and family, who would all describe her as hardworking, fun, creative, and determined. Aside from sports, her other hobbies include reading, working out, and practicing her two instruments: the guitar and the piano. In media, Kelly is looking forward to filming fun videos and helping with JCTV broadcasts. From a young age, Kelly has taken an interest in writing, journalism, and content creation, and is excited to create engaging content, write about the latest Jesuit news, and continue to learn as much as possible when it comes to media production.

Sam Kaempf, Content Creator
Sam Kaempf is a senior at Jesuit High School, primarily specializing in videography and photography. This is Sam’s second year in media, after taking Fundamentals of Media Production last year. He is particularly interested in covering the sports world at Jesuit High School. Sam’s passion for media began with some truly terrible iMovies he made when he was 10, and at Jesuit via JCTV, but has only grown from there. Outside of being behind or in front of a camera, Sam enjoys running on both the Cross Country and Track and Field teams at Jesuit. When not running long distances, Sam enjoys being out in nature, hiking, biking or swimming. Sam lives with his mom, brother and his dog, Louie.

Lucia Barone, Staff
Dedicated and hardworking, Lucia Barone is a sophomore attending Jesuit High School who is just getting introduced to the world of media. Lucia is interested in writing about issues that can be found in Jesuit’s community but also go beyond, affecting our nation and our world. She wants to write about issues including climate change, social justice, new scientific discoveries, as well as other worldwide conflicts and events. Lucia lives in Lake Oswego with her parents and her older brother. She has two dogs, a Goldendoodle named McKenzie and an Australian Labradoodle named Sophie. She and her family love to hang out with her dogs, go swimming with them in the Willamette, and bring them on hikes and trips. Outside of school, Lucia enjoys doing a multitude of activities including: reading, baking, track and field, LEGOs, and spending time with her family, friends, and dogs. Her friends would describe her as loyal, adventurous, inquisitive, ambitious, and kind. Lucia enjoys traveling the world and learning about different histories and cultures. Some of her favorite places she has traveled to are Costa Rica, Belize, and Ireland and she hopes to visit many more countries in her lifetime. Overall, Lucia is looking forward to learning the art of media through photography, videography, and journalism.
