Jesuit Volleyball 2025 Preview
Coming back from a successful 2024 season after winning the Metro League as well as a state championship, Jesuit volleyball is looking to uphold their back-to-back state championship titles and has full confidence to do so.
After losing four key seniors, head coach Teresa Zimmerlee is looking to do some damage with the class of 2026. With five starting seniors, three all around and one at libero, they are looking to lead the team to another big win.
“The seniors have a big leadership role and are doing a tremendous job bringing up the rest of the team,” Zimmerlee said. “We couldn't ask for better leadership.”
Senior outside hitter Jada Johnson, committed to UC Davis, is feeling confident and excited to see where this new team goes.
“We have a good amount of people returning from last year, along with some new additions to the team and I think everybody is really excited to see how far we can go together.”
Senior Libero Kiana Johnson, committed to Saint Mary’s College, who has currently serve received an impressive 2.02, leads the defensive half of the team.
“I’m really looking forward to growing with this team over the season. We have been training hard in practice to set us up well for our matches and I think this group is going to do something special this season.”
The Crusaders are looking to open up their first Metro League game with a win, at Mountainside, on September 11, 2025.
