Braden Baluyut is a junior at Jesuit High School and he is part of the Jesuit Media team. This is Braden’s first year in advanced media and he is super excited to write interesting sports articles, create cool graphics for the marketing program, and learn about recording and editing videography. Braden was born in California, where he lived for a few years before moving to Oregon. Some of his favorite sports teams include the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Dodgers. He has three brothers named Jaelen, Dylan (Class of 2016), and Liam, a Freshman. At Jesuit, he is an ambassador, plays football and basketball, and is interested in joining the lacrosse team this year. Although he does not play it anymore, he still has a huge passion for soccer, as he is a big fan of Manchester United and Barcelona. Outside of school, Braden enjoys traveling with his family to places like California and Hawaii, spending time with friends, swimming, and trying new activities. He also loves listening to music by artists like Drake, PARTYNEXTDOOR, and Bryson Tiller. Overall, Braden is thrilled to learn a lot from Jesuit Media and bring creativity, energy, and positivity to the team every single day.
