Maeve Thomas is a hardworking Junior at Jesuit who loves to play soccer and participate in school clubs. She enjoys Cancer for Kids meetings and what they do outside of school for the community. During Maeve's free time she loves to go out on hikes, watch movies and the Premier League. For example, every Sunday Maeve wakes up and watches the Premiere League games with her dad. Maeve is taking Fundamentals of Media at Jesuit and is interested in broadcasting, announcing, taking photos, writing about sports games and her interests. Maeve’s passion has always been sports and she wants to give her perspective on the games Jesuit puts on. She is also interested in taking action shots of the players. For example, Maeve loves media day and would like to help make others media days just as fun as hers. Maeve takes pride in her Jesuit community and would love to help write articles that bring Jesuits to life. She would love to write about hard topics to challenge her as well. In her eyes, writing is just one form on how to bring joy, justice, and ideas into the world.
