Rachel Mattecheck, Staff
Rachel Mattecheck is a junior at Jesuit High School and is excited to jump into first year of media production. She has always been very interested and involved in sports. With her two older brothers, one graduating from Jesuit and the other from Tualatin, she has sat through one too many games. With her competitive spirit, Rachel is very excited to be involved with media this year, particularly photography and filming. Aside from media, Rachel played soccer for Jesuit for her first two years and is an equestrian and a part of the Tualatin High School Equestrian Team which takes up a lot of her time. Outside of sports, Rachel loves to hang out with her friends, bake, and is heavily a part of the 4H program. Rachel is bilingual and biliterate in Spanish and started learning in a two-way immersion program at her elementary school. Growing up in an immersion school, Rachel started learning Spanish at 6. She is bilingual and biliterate and used her skills a lot in the Dominican Republic this summer for her Jesuit service project with Court For Kids. Through Courts For Kids she immersed herself in a new culture and learned how to be a hard worker and developed many new skills. She is excited to start the new year!
