Susie O’Mahony is excited for her second year on the Jesuit Media team. Born and raised in Portland, Susie is an energetic and driven junior at Jesuit High School. Susie’s family is a beloved part of the Jesuit community; Her sister, Lizzie ‘20, and brother, Noah ‘23, were both active members at Jesuit, and Susie hopes to continue their legacy. During her freshman and sophomore years, she has participated in many school events such as organizing the CCA Walk for Joy, leading Fashion Club, and being a Jesuit Ambassador. After studying for two years, she is conversationally fluent in American Sign Language. Since the age of three, Susie has had a special connection to dancing of all styles and is currently training with Elevate Dance Academy. When she is not dancing, you can find Susie either hiking her favorite waterfall trails or spending quality time with friends and family. She thinks her loved ones would describe her as hardworking, spontaneous, optimistic, and loyal. Susie plans on pursuing her dreams in marketing and Human Resources during college. She hopes to inspire people with her media works and call out injustices in the Jesuit community that may not get the attention they deserve.
