Ashley O’Neill is a hardworking Junior at Jesuit High School who is entering her first year in Advanced Media. She excelled in Fundamentals of Media her previous year, highlighting her filming and editing skills. She is so excited to further her knowledge of media and produce more content. This year she will be working with the show “Voices From the Crowd” and also helping with Special Projects. She is hoping to learn more about cameras so she can help with media shoots and more photography throughout the year. Outside of the classroom, you can find Ashley on the soccer field, hanging out with friends and family, and playing pickleball. Growing up in Portland, Ashley always loved to be active so she was exposed to many sports at a young age. This caused her to be able to work with many groups of people which has helped her in the classroom immensely. People would describe Ashley as positive, outgoing, and creative. Additionally, at a young age, Ashley soon learned she had a strong passion for media. She loved to create imovies and be in front of the camera making up her own dance. She hopes she can use all her skills she has to impact the classroom for the better and to continue to write about sports, which interest her the most.
