Payton Roth is a Senior at Jesuit High School who is a first year student in the fundamentals of media production class. He got interested in writing and media after recommendations from his friends who had taken media classes before. He is also interested in writing because of his older sister, who studies journalism at the University of Sheffield and is currently working in London. The main topic he enjoys writing and speaking about is sports. This year he hopes to commentate on sports games, interview players and coaches, and write about big sports events. He also hopes to find other interesting topics to write about throughout his time in the media production class. Outside of writing and media, Payton plays football and basketball for Jesuit because he has played his whole life. He is hoping to have great seasons to finish off his high school career. His family includes two working parents, two sisters, and two dogs. His hobbies include watching movies, listening to music, traveling, going hiking, and spending time with his dogs Mogie and Ruby.
