Bea Donnelly, Staff
Bea Donnelly is a sophomore at Jesuit High School, this is her first year taking Fundamentals of Media and is super excited to learn new skills. Bea is very hardworking and loves to always try new things and put herself out there. Bea is new to the whole world of media and cameras but she has always loved performing and has a background in performing arts and theater. This is the perfect class for her to use as a creative outlet. In Bea’s spare time she loves to be outside, whether that’s playing her favorite sport lacrosse, going on hikes all over Oregon, and playing with her dog Bowie. Bea is very bubbly and does not have a hard time working and meeting new people. She will definitely use this skill to her advantage by putting herself out there with all different kinds of projects. Bea is most excited to tell stories about Jesuit that other students and schools might not know about and highlight the amazing accomplishments Jesuit achieves. Bea also is excited to work with JCTV and see what it is truly like to work behind the scenes with live broadcasting.
Claire Diab, Staff
Claire Diab is a sophomore at Jesuit High School and it is her first time taking media production. She is very passionate about producing content and media, and she loves being a personality on camera. Claire has always had a passion for public speaking, as well as creating content that is innovative and exciting. Claire also loves to read and write, and is overall an imaginative person. Her passion in her work drives her to be the best student she can be. Claire loves traveling, spending time with friends and family, and exploring new places. Claire also loves speech and debate, and even participates in Mock Trial. Claire is half Lebanese and half Thai, and she is passionate about traveling and experiencing new cultures. She partakes in Arab American Club, and growing up as a person of two different cultures, Claire wants to represent all the different people and aspects that Jesuit has to offer. She will bring all of these passions and skills into the world of media production and create an environment of Jesuit spirit in every work she produces. Claire can’t wait to participate in exciting interviews, broadcasts, and thrilling features and shows. She is determined to involve herself in as much Jesuit culture as possible, including media shoots, sports games, interviews, and creating content for social media.
Adrian Suk, Staff
Adrian Suk is a sophomore at Jesuit High School taking a media class for the first time. He is interested in sports journalism, stemming from his background in football and family background. His parents are both immigrants who immigrated to Kansas City Missouri, which is why they are huge Chiefs fans. Adrian is also excited to get more involved in the Jesuit community through media and telling people’s stories. Also, he loves telling the underdog story because he was always overlooked. He also loves photography and editing photos as well as telling stories through photography. Another reason why he is super excited to be in fundamentals of media is to create engaging and high quality content for the Jesuit social media pages. Outside of school, Adrian loves to travel and be with nature like at national parks. Some of his hobbies outside of school include playing games like Madden or college football. As well as, weightlifting because it’s a calm reflective space. He is also interested in music like Drake, Tory Lanez, and PARTYNEXTDOOR. Overall Adrian loves trying new things and learning from new experiences, and he is very excited to be in the media team this school year.
