Their season began to challenge them when they played Saint Joseph’s in California, West Salem, and Tualatin. Unfortunately they were unsuccessful in their victories.
The Crusaders are currently ranked number eight in state, while the Rams are ranked twentieth in the state.
The Rams have been faced with a difficult schedule being 3-6. They ventured off to California in the beginning of their season to face tough teams like Bakersfield Christ, Fresno, Clovis West, and Atwater. The Rams continue to power through their season dominating Tigard and Cleveland by 10+ points.
As senior captain Sophia Costerella gets ready for the big game she reminisces about past match ups against their rivals.
“Central is always a fun team to play,” Costarella said. “They always come out super competitive and ready to play. So I think it will be super important for us as a team to come ready and show what we’ve been working on this season.”
Come support the Crusaders this Friday night as they battle against their rivals at 5:30.
