Malkiel has been a key player for the crusaders, coming back from an injury and making an immeasurable impact on the team.
Other key players on the team include senior midfielder Davis Dolp, Elliott Hire, sophomore attack Georgie Malkiel, and senior defensemen Owen Vance.
Over the course of the season, the team has continued to learn and grow from not only losses, but wins as well. The team has put in the work in practices and are prepared to make a run in the playoffs.
“There has been many up and down from our regular season but we have definitely learned from our mistakes. We know what we needed to fix and have done that and are confident that we can absolutely make a run in the playoffs. If we just stick to what we know and perform well, I have no doubt we can bring the trophy home” senior Elliott Hire said.
The Jesuit Crusaders will host the South Eugene Axe’s on Cronin Field this Tuesday May 19th, $5 entry for students.
