Ashley Heger, E-Board Member
Ashley Heger is a senior at Jesuit. She’s been described as kind, hardworking, and diligent. She’s interested in photography and writing and was a part of JCTV the past three years and is looking forward to continuing it this year. Her brother, Jacob, inspired her to be involved in Jesuit Media, as he was when he attended Jesuit. Ashley is excited to keep learning how to take and edit photos and growing in her article writing skills. She prefers to be behind the scenes but also enjoys interviewing and announcing. Growing up, she played soccer and basketball but now she is more interested in paddleboarding, playing tennis for fun, and watching sports. Ashley especially loves watching football with her family and is an avid supporter of the Kansas City Chiefs, being she was born in Kansas City. She misses the snow, sledding, and delicious barbecue, but is glad to get away from the humidity. She enjoys hanging out with friends, reading, baking, and traveling. Ashley also loves traveling and visiting her family in the Midwest. She loves to spend her time in nature and at the Oregon Coast.
Iman Foster, Content Creator
Iman Foster is an ambitious and hard working Senior at Jesuit High School. After seeing media in her life through the news and sports, it sparked an irreplaceable interest in her heart. As it is Iman’s second year in media, she is hoping to apply what she has learned about regular and sports reporting, as well as the process behind interviews to her new projects. Iman is also hoping to cover many stories regarding the sports side of our lovely community at Jesuit as well as. Outside of academics, Iman is also a dual sport athlete. Over the past few years, she has been on the varsity volleyball team which won state these past two years, and the varsity track and field team who won state this past year. All of her life, sports have taught Iman many life lessons that have contributed to her personality and changed her life. In her free time she also enjoys spending time with family, friends, playing the ukulele, listening to music, laughing, baking, and shopping. This year, Iman hopes to join the sports side of Jesuit media again to help share the side of sports that she loves and gets to see everyday.
Eleana Regnier, Content Creator
Eleana Regnier is a junior at Jesuit going into her second year of media. Eleana finds her interest in photography and videography through the exposure of her dad who has a passion for creating and sharing his photography. Throughout this year, Eleana is looking forward to enhancing her writing skills and continuing her work with videography. She also wants to learn more about editing photos and how to better her video editing. She wants to make sure students are engaged and that they want to keep watching the content of Jesuit Media. Her goal is to bring light to the students’ perspective and responses to the news of Jesuit High School. She is excited to take photos and make hype videos that will get students excited to be a part of the Jesuit community. Outside of the media classroom, Eleana spends her time playing softball and working out. She is a part of the Jesuit varsity softball team joining as a freshman. She is a hard worker and knows what it is like to fail and keep moving. Other activities she enjoys include hanging out with her friends and family, reading when she has time, and crocheting little things for others to show her appreciation for them. Eleana’s goal is to always show kindness and care for people in need.
Max Sharp, Content Creator
Max Sharp is a senior at Jesuit high school. Max is currently in advanced media production where he is excited to continue his media journey this year. Max is interested in video, marketing, and photography. He is also looking forward to broadcasting different sports events like football, basketball, and more. Max is excited about writing a lot of things, but in particular he would like to write about sports at Jesuit high school. He would like to write about game recaps and individual athletes. Sports are a part of Max’s life as he plays basketball and Track for Jesuit. Max is a part of the triple jump, long jump, and high jump team for Jesuit Track. In his free time Max likes playing basketball and golf with his friends. He also enjoys working out and watching movies. Max also loves swimming, cliff jumping, and spending time with his family. Max is a brother and a son, he has two siblings, a younger sister and a twin brother. He Likes spending time with his friends which he tries to do everyday. Max also likes trying new things and gaining new skills. He is very excited to finish his last year of high school continuing what he loves in media production.
Vivienne Jansen, Content Creator
Vivienne Jansen is a sophomore at Jesuit High School and a first time media student at Jesuit High School. She is absolutely ecstatic about taking Advanced Media Production this year because Vivienne has always had an interest in media. At her old middle school St. Pius X, she was one of the founding members and producers of the show Mornings with Morty. But besides media, Vivienne is found doing homework, watching tv, or most commonly, in the swimming pool. She is a competitive swimmer and participates on the school team as well. During the year, she is interested in capturing photos from sports and community events along with photographing media days. She also wants to host some of the shows Jesuit Media produces and help produce them, but most importantly, Vivienne wants to learn from the upperclassmen also taking media in addition to forming friendships with them.
