Kaitlyn MacLennan

Kaitlyn MacLennan, E-Board Member

Kaitlyn MacLennan is a competitive and hardworking senior at Jesuit High School excited about furthering her contributions in advanced media production. This will be Kaitlyn’s third year as part of the media team and she looks forward to taking a bigger leadership role this year. Over the last two years Kaitlyn learned and grew her videography skills as well as her editing. She excelled in Special Projects last year and hopes to continue producing even more newsworthy projects that show a higher skill level. Some of the main projects Kaitlyn partook in were Mic’d Up videos, 30 Years of Co-Education, sports recaps, and many other special projects.

Growing up in the Bay Area in California, Kaitlyn saw different types of media design and it really drew her eye. She is hoping to bring a positive and fun voice to her work and hoping it showcases Jesuit Media in the best way. Her hopes from this class is to further her learning in journalism to see if there is an interest in continuing throughout college. In addition to media production, Kaitlyn enjoys soccer, skiing, baking, hanging out with friends, and playing other sports. Most of the time if you don’t see Kaitlyn working on the back side of the cameras she will be on the field playing for the varsity soccer team for Jesuit. Because of Kaitlyn’s big love for sports, she is highly interested in sports videos.
