Eamon McDonagh, Staff Writer
Eamon McDonagh is a senior at Jesuit and it is his second year studying journalism. Eamon decided to study journalism because of his brother Eoin, who loved the broadcast journalism class he took as a junior and senior at Jesuit. This year, Eamon is interested in broadcasting different sporting events at Jesuit, especially football, basketball, and baseball. His love for sports started at age five by following the Portland Trail Blazers, Minnesota Vikings, and Minnesota Twins closely. Outside of school, Eamon is a part of the Jesuit Track and Field program and is slowly picking up golf in his free time. Eamon and his brother frequently listen to the Bill Simmons Podcast, and often argue about different topics concerning the NFL and NBA seasons. Eamon loves watching movies with friends with his three favorite all time being Cars, The Dark Knight, and Step Brothers. He has two dogs at home, Rory and Lulu, who both love chasing tennis balls at the park and going on walks after school. After completing Fundamentals of Media last year, Eamon hopes to continue developing on the skills that he learned, but he is also willing to try new things as well throughout the year.
